For the longest time, it was just me and Amma and Nana (mom and dad). Moulin knows that I was more than content without a sibling because these two lovely humans are my favorite in the world. My dad is the wisest person I know. He's soft-spoken and my compass on any difficult decision. My mom loves fiercely and cares so much (she will wake up at 3 in the morning to make me a batch of my favorite meal every visit home). She has taught me how to create a family as she holds our little one together. Moulin has found his way into this little family, and into my parents' hearts which is the truest testament for my love for him.

My parents. I can’t imagine two people who are more devoted to being there for Gauthami and me. Whether it’s my dad driving hours at a moments notice when my car breaks down, or my mom making sure there’s food in our fridge, there’s nothing too big or too small that my parents wouldn’t do for us. Knowing that Gauthami misses her parents living a thousand miles away from them, my parents take care of her as one of their own.
